The EHCo website is encoded, built, and hosted by the Humanities Computing and Media Centre at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada. ECHo uses a Subversion repository to keep files under version control, and a Jenkins Continuous Integration Server to produce a static, Endings-compliant website. Static websites comply with the principles of minimal computing. With no server-side dependencies and no complex software stack, the EHCo website minimizes its environmental footprint.

A release of the ECHo website—a bundle of self-contained HTML pages—can be downloaded onto your device and read on a browser even without an internet connection. If you want to download a static version of the EHCo site, contact HCMC for more information.
